Dr. Smoot is a neurologist specializing in multiple sclerosis. He graduated from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and completed his medicine internship and neurology residency at Oregon Health & Science University, where he served as chief resident.
Dr. Smoot has written several abstracts that were presented at the American Academy of Neurology and the American Neurologic Association meetings in 2003 and 2005. Dr. Smoot also supports a broad range of disorders as a general neurologist.

Dr. Zurasky is a neurologist specializing in stroke and neurocritical care. He joins Providence after serving as the medical director of the stroke program at Intermountain Healthcare. Dr. Zurasky earned his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine. He completed a residency in neurology at University of Washington in Seattle and a fellowship in stroke and neurologic intensive care at Washington University in St. Louis, Mo.
Dr. Zurasky is board-certified in neurology, vascular neurology and neurocritical care. Before dedicating himself to the medical field at age 30, Dr. Zurasky worked for a stock brokerage and taught English in Japan.

Dr. Walter earned her medical degree from University of Virginia, School of Medicine. She completed an internal medicine internship and a neurology residency at University of Washington. Through the university, she completed a fellowship in movement disorders at VA Puget Sound Healthcare System in Seattle.
She is board-certified in neurology and she received the Movement Disorders Society Travel Award in 2009.
Dr. Walter treats patients with Parkinson’s disease and other neurological disorders at The Oregon Clinic, Neurological Clinic East division.
